On Friday, Dec. 16, Lower School holiday music of the season returned to the Helen A. Dolan Center Theater stage after a three-year hiatus.
Lower School Winter Concert musicians and singers wiggled, danced, and sang out their hearts as their families, who filled nearly every seat of the Theater, echoed back with applause – and a few dance moves of their own.
With some Middle and Upper School siblings watching from the balcony, students from Early Childhood to fourth grade performed songs like "Rock n' Roll Snowman," "We Three Kings," and "Stories in the Snow" to name a few.
Fourth graders enchanted the audience as each student sounded out in handbells the song, "Festive Bells." Junior Clementine Constantino accompanied the fourth grade on harp to a jubilant holiday mashup and medley, and a finale presentation from Kindergarten to 4th grade rounded out the concert with "Jingle Jive" as the audience exuberantly sang along.
